Roadhouse World Open I

Roadhouse World Flair, Round Two, World Open! So what can I say about the day?  A full line up of the industries finest and  with some fresh names and talent amongst the regular competitors at the Roadhouse.  Noticeable was Marcin Cebula who came flying the flag high and bringing the Flair Factory style in full effect.  From nowhere came a man with 3 tin and 2 bottle moves unlike anything I have ever seen, amazing.

Marco Canova came back in black with what I can only call O.C.D. Flair.  Crisp, clean and flawless. Ridiculously smooth and a real inspiration to all the other competitors, well done.

Qualifying for the grand final was Marco, Marcin & Alex Searle, well done to those boys. I look forward to seeing them back in November, if not before.   It was a great night for Bar Academy also with Sylvain Glatigny & Jean Marc Pothier both qualifying for finals. For Jean Marc this was his 2nd ever Roadhouse and Sylvain just missed out on qualifying for the grand final but judging by the amount of beautiful women at the front of the stage shouting his name out I am sure this didn’t bother him that much.

It’s great to see all the new flairer’s coming up through the ranks and it was even better that Delirium TV were there to capture the event. Mike “The Breuk” Breuker & Marty Billsborough flew in especially to cover the World challenge and I am glad to say they will be with us throughout the year covering the World Challenges and spreading the word of Roadhouse World Flair, capturing all the moves and action just for you all to see.

Top the night off with an impromptu flair off from the Roadhouse bartenders, (to some interesting music), showcasing what they do best really got the late night crowds going again. Well done to the Roadhouse Team throwing the fun back into flair.

I want to say a big thanks to Timppa from VIP Bartenders in Finland for coming over especially to judge the event and to Andy Collinson and Vicky Patras.

Looking forward to seeing you all at the next competition which will be held on Sunday 28th March.

Many Thanks
Oli Pluck
